TOUR DESCRIPTION

Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (D)
Welcome to Vietnam !

Upon arrival Noi Bai airport, you will be warmly welcome by VenueVietnam tour guide and being transferred (35 minutes driving) to hotel in the city center for check-in.
Orientation tour to visit the Temple of Literature, where the 1st social university of Vietnam founded in 11th century, and West Lake with the Taoist Temple Quan Thanh, where maintain the biggest black bronze statue of the Vietnamese sculpture. The tour will end with a cyclo tour in the famous Old Quarter of Hanoi before you have a delicious dinner and join an evening show of Water Puppetry, a stage art that is unique for . O/N Hanoi.

Day 2: HANOI MORE VISIT – HALONG (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will continue our city tour today to have further understanding about this city. The recommended sightseeing points are the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One-pillar pagoda, and one of the Ethnology Museum or the Fine-Arts Museum .
After lunch, a drive through the countryside of Red River delta passing peaceful landscapes with farmers working on the fields will take you to Halong city. Check-in hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is for you to explore Halong city yourself. Dinner and Overnight in Halong City .

Day 3: HALONG BOAT – HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B, L, D)
Among the sights of Northern Vietnam , Halong attracts perhaps 95% of the visitors.
Your private boat is waiting for you at the Wharft this morning. After breakfast, take a 5-hour boat trip to visit the Bay and enjoy the unusual seascape with thousand picturesque rocks and islets, deep limestone grottoes and caves and inland lakes. Enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood on board. After about 5 hours, you will be back to the Wharf and take your car to get back to Hanoi . Dinner in Hanoi . Take the overnight train at 21.30 to Lao Cai Station (310km northwest of Hanoi ) to start an adventure to the Far Northwest. O/N on the train.

Day 4: LAO CAI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B, L, D)
Arrive at Lao Cai Station at 06.00. Have a breakfast of local foods before departing to Sapa (40km mountainous road from Lao Cai). Arrive at Sapa town at about 08.00. Leave your luggage at the hotel and hang around with your guide in Sapa market, where you can intermingle with the local tribes and view their crafts, mainly made of wood, silver, dyed fabrics and so on. After lunch in Sapa, hike downhill 4km to Cat Cat stream and waterfall, visit the Cat Cat village of the hill tribe of H’Mong people. Back to Sapa for dinner and overnight. 

Day 5: SAPA – VILLAGES OF HILL TRIBES – NIGHT TRAIN BACK TO HANOI (B, L, D)
From Sapa, drive 15km northeast to Taphin, hike thru paddy fields and an old seminary in Taphin Valley, you will reach the villages of the H’mong and Red Zao people, who are skillful in dying and making clothes and embroidery by traditional, old silk thread.

Back to Sapa for a rest and a delicious lunch before heading south to another remarkable area at Lao Chai (10km from Sapa) and walk thru 3km to Tavan with visits to the villages of the tribal people H’mong, Tay and Dzay en route. Take you car to be back to Lao Cai Station for the train at 19.00 or 20.00. Dinner in Lao Cai. O/N on the train.


Day 6: HANOI – HUE (B, L, D)
Arrive Hanoi station in the early morning. Picked up and transferred to hotel for early check-in and breakfast. This morning is your own time for last shopping or relaxing in Hanoi before taking the noon flight to Hue .

You will be welcomed in Hue and transferred to your hotel in the city centre for check-in before departing to visit the Royal Citadel, Forbidden City and Hue Royal Museum , the traces of the last feudal dynasty, and Dong Ba bustling market. O/N in Hue .

Day 7: HUE FULL DAY BOAT TRIP (B, L, D)
More than any other city, Hue reflects the former glory of  the nation of better. The history of the city goes back to the 3rd century BC, when  it was the capital of Nhat Nam District of the Chinese Han dynasty, then gradually became a capital of the Kingdom Champa, a citadel of Vietnamese landlords and a cultural centre of culinary, old values and lifestyle of . With Hue ’s historical significance, the city was awarded as a Cultural World Heritage by UNESCO in 1994.

With a boat ridden along the poetic Perfume River , you can reach Thien Mu Pagoda, the centre of Buddhism of the city, whose 90% are Buddhists, and the Tomb of King Minh Mang, which is reachable from a river pier. Other remarkable Tomb to visit are the ones of King Tu Duc or King Khai Dinh, with very different architectural styles depending on the tastes of each King. Stop at a Garden House in Hue to enjoy the decoration of the present Hue people before returning to your hotel to refresh. Dinner and O/N Hue .

Day 8: HUE – DANANG – HOIAN (B, L, D)
Departing from Hue, passing Danang with stops to sightsee the Marble Mt., the famous China Beach, enjoy landscape of Hai Van (the Cloudy Mountain Pass) and Lang Co Beach, you will reach Hoian after lunchtime.

Spend your afternoon visiting the town of Hoi An – along with your guide, walk over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, pagodas and stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for silk and tailored-clothes that can be complete within a day. Then, if time available, take the boat trip along Thu Bon River with stops to visit craft villages in its neighbouring peninsulas. O/N Hoian.

Day 9: HOIAN – MY SON – HOIAN (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart to visit the most concentrative and impressive combination of Cham Towers at My Son, 45km from Hoian town, where you can learn much about the Cham culture that once brightly developed in the location of present Central Vietnam.
Back to the town for lunch. This afternoon is is open for your optional tour by boat to a ceramic village in Thu Bon river, or cycling with your guide 3km to Cua Dai ( Big Beach ) to relax. Dinner and O/N Hoian.


Day 10: HOIAN – DANANG – NHA TRANG (B, L, D)
Spend your last minutes in this charming town before being transferred to Danang to catch the flight to Nha Trang. Welcome upon arrival Nha Trang. Spend your day today to visit Nha Trang’s Po Nagar Cham Tower, which was built between the 7th and 12th centuries and remain a significantly religious centre for both Vietnamese and Chinese today. Beside the Cham tower and marvelous beach, Long Son Pagoda built in late 19th century is also impressive not just by its decoration with traditional motifs in modern materials, but by a huge white statue of Buddha meditating on a lotus blossom – the symbol of Buddhism - and visible from all over Nha Trang. Dinner and O/N Nha Trang.

Day 11: NHA TRANG ISLAND (B, L, D)
Today is a full day boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium and  Hon Tam Island . During the journey, you can enjoy diving or snorkelling in the best sea of  Vietnam . This is where you can see hundreds of fishes, ocean plants and wonderful corals.   Seafood lunch will be served on board. After dinner in the evening, you will be free to discover the city and people. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 12: NHA TRANG AT LEISURE (B)
Whole day at leisure to relax on the beach. No meals provided. O/N Nha Trang.

Day 13: NHA TRANG – BUON MA THUOT – LAK LAKE (B, L, D) 210km
Full day excursion on 26th national highway to reach the Central Highland with stopover to visit the Draysap Waterfalls on the way to BuonMaThuot. Enjoy the famous coffee in town. Continue on the 27th national highway to reach Jun village of M’nong people, which is rather famous for their elephants.
On arrival, we enjoy an one and half hour elephant ride to admire the rural life and the stunning mountain backdrops. Afterwards we transfer to June village where we are guest of a M'nong family in a traditional long house. The facilities here are very basic, but the experience is definitive unique. This also offers us a chance to explore the simple lifestyle of the M'nong hill tribe people. Dinner and Overnight at June village.

Day 14: LAK LAKE – DON VILLAGE – BUON MA THUOT (B, L, D)

An impressive way of commencing our day is a short dugout ride on Lak Lake surrounded by the verdant and rugged mountains. We also have enough time this morning walking to discover a nearby village, home of the M'nong hill tribe people. Upon leaving Lak Lake we travel by roads via Buon Ma Thuot to visit Don Village , the native land of wild elephant catchers and tamers whose fame was once echoed throughout the region. Visit seven-storey waterfall, Hamlet of M'nong & Laotian minority people, Tomb of elephant hunter's King. Back to Buon Ma Thuot late afternoon for hotel checking-in and dinner. O/N Buon Ma Thuot.

Day 15: BUON MA THUOT – DA LAT, the 07 MOST WANTED PLACES (B, L, D) 200km
Morning depart for Dalat, the jewel of the Central Highlands. Dalat is featured by a park-like environment, with lovely temperature 15°-24°C and sunlight all year round, which create numerous waterfalls, pinewood hills, lakes and evergreen forests and gardens.

Within your days in Dalat, we would like to introduce you the seven most wanted places here in four directions of Dalat: After check-in hotel, head:

SOUTH to visit:

• Robin hill: (1650m), full view of Dalat (You can try the option of taking the 2.3 km cable car to Tuyen Lam Lake )

• Truc Lam Zen Monastery: the largest Zen Monastery of Vietnam.

Tuyen Lam Lake : the nicest Lake of Dalat .

WEST:

• Bao Dai’s Summer Palace : where the last Emperor of - Bao Dai (1913-1997) stayed and ruled his from 1949 to 1954.

• Crazy house: where art, architecture, feeling and imagination are well blended.

Back to the city center for dinner and O/N.

Evening, if you like to hike around by yourselves, remember that coffee and cake in Dalat are some of the best in and easily to be found in any finer cafes.


Day 16: DA LAT more VISITS (B, L, D)
Spend your last day here to visit the rest attractions of Da Lat:

To the EAST:

• Dalat Railway Station: remarkable with its architecture and its old steam locomotive.  Take the 7 km train ride to Trai Mat going through vegetable farms (one way train).

• Linh Phuoc Pagoda: 9km East from the center, the most colorful decorated temple of Dalat , caved with tens of thousands of beer bottles and broken china. Well worth a visit!

To the NORTH:

• Lat village: visit Lat house and study Lat culture.             

You will be free at leisure rest of the day to hang around this beautiful city or do some shopping. Dinner and O/N Dalat.

Day 17: DA LAT – SAIGON (B, L, D)
Take the morning flight from Dalat to Saigon . Welcome upon arrival Saigon.
City tour to sightsee the landmarks of the city – the Notre Dame Cathedral, a Neo-Romanesque styled Catholic Church, and the French-styled Central Post Office. After check-in hotel and have dinner, continue the city tour to visit the town. Your first destination this afternoon will be the Big Market (Cho Lon). The bustling Cho Lon is located right near the centre of the China Town, where all the name boards are in two languages – Chinese and Vietnamese -, and so are the common exchanging languages of the residents in this area. The site, in general, can consume your 2 hours or more before you continue the tour to the 150-year-old Thien Hau pagoda to learn about the worshipping rituals of the locals, or visit a lacquer ware factory on the way back to the hotel for researching one of the most well-known craft-making skills of the Vietnamese. Dinner and O/N in Saigon .

Day 18: SAIGON – TAY NINH – CU CHI TUNNELS (B, L, D)
Your day begins with a visit to Tayninh, the centre of Caodaism, a local sect of Buddhism founded by a Vietnamese countryman in early 20th century. Arriving at noontime, you will have the chance to witness the daily ceremony at the temple of Cao Dai called Tayninh Holysee.

The midday mass is very solumn and respectful. Today, the Caodaism numbers over 2 million members, who are vegetarians, obey the rules of chastity, and lead very simple lives helping the sick and the infirm.  They are known for their séances and communications with the spirit world. 

On the way back to Saigon is located Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war was.  Return to Saigon in late afternoon. Dinner and O/N in Saigon .


Day 19: SAIGON – CHAU DOC (B, L, D)

Morning head south to CaiBe. Take a boat trip upon arrival to visit floating market and cruise over mighty Mekong river to island, promenade around fruit orchards.

After lunch on An Binh islet, the boat will take you to VinhLong, from where you will get back on your car/bus to reach LongXuyen, explore the village making incense stick before heading onto ChauDoc for the first night. Dinner and O/N Chau Doc.

Day 20: CHAU DOC – CAN THO (B, L, D)

Enjoy a morning cruise through the floating village with tons and tons of fish farmed underneath hundreds of shelters. Discover the ethnic Cham village with its famous Mubarak Mosque and watch the locals go about their traditional weaving. After visiting the famous Lady Chua Xu Temple (1820), take a walk to the sacred Sam Mountain with its panoramic view over the vast plains into. After lunch, continue on to CanTho, with a stop at a bird sanctuary, for the second night. Dinner and O/N Can Tho.

Day 21: CAN THO – SAIGON (B, L, D)
Rise up early for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, then you will have a long distance cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine.
Try a xe loi, the local colonial-era cab pulled by motorbike, on a country road. In the afternoon, head back to Saigon . Arrive Saigon late afternoon. Dinner and O/N Saigon .

Day 22: SAIGON DEPARTURE (B)
You have whole rights to spend your last moments in our country. Relaxing, packing your luggages or shopping. Finally, you will be transferred to the airport to take flight leaving .
